This conference brings together leading researchers from around the world working on the modelling and estimation of consumer demand. Talks will cover consumption decisions ranging from static to dynamic models, rational to boundedly-rational, discrete to continuous and everywhere in between. The unifying theme is a microeconometric approach to demand analysis. Over 20 of the leading researchers in empirical demand analysis will speak: a full list of participants is availble here.
This conference has been organised by Boston College, the ESRC Centre for Microdata Methods and Practice (cemmap) and the ESRC Centre for the Microeconomic Analysis of Public Policy at IFS. For more information about the event or to register your interest, please contact Stefan Hoderlein.
