This masterclass aims to introduce the main ideas from the theory of random sets and to emphasize their econometric applications. On the mathematical side, it will cover the distributions of random sets, selections and expectations, and related concepts from the theory of multivalued functions. These concepts will be then illustrated on examples of econometric models, mostly concerning the partial identification setting.
