This is a cemmap/ELSE one-day workshop co-sponsored by the European Research Council. It will take place on May 4, 2011 at UCL (Department of Economics, Drayton House). The presentations at the workshop will include a variety of recent developments in market microstructure, both theoretical and empirical (e.g., herding in financial markets, strategic trading, high frequency trading). Speakers include Marco Cipriani, David Easley, Antonio Guarino, Michael Kearns, Albert Menkveld, Maureen O’Hara, Paolo Pasquariello.
