Work on this topic aims to develop methods to improve our understanding of models that allow for non-linear relationships, unobserved multidimensional heterogeneity and endogenous variables. Applications include the determinants of consumption of various goods, the relationship between education and wages, and the role of institutions in explaining the heterogeneity of current GDP levels across the world.
