Dr Melanie Lührmann

Melanie Lührmann joined the IFS in 2006 as a research fellow within the EU RTN network Microdata Methods and Practice. She studied at the University of Mannheim and at the University of California, Berkeley, and received her PhD from the University of Mannheim in January 2006.

Her research interests are in applied microeconomics and public economics, particularly in economics of aging, the analysis of consumer behaviour and family economics.
