Terms and conditions of booking
We have amended our terms and conditions of booking. Please read these terms and conditions before you return your booking form.
If you are successful in securing a place at one of our events we will email you and issue you with a hard-copy invoice. Once we have issued this invoice (or informed you of the date that one will be issued) your place is confirmed, subject to payment terms. Before booking you should ensure that you are able to cover the cost of your place (e.g. through university / departmental funding) as you are now liable for your fees and subject to the below cancellation policy. Please be aware that full payment is required no less than 10 working days (two weeks) prior to the course start date. If we have not received payment by this time we reserve the right to cancel your place and offer it to another interested party (this does not mean your place will automatically be cancelled and you will still be liable for the course fee if we do not replace you with another delegate, subject to our cancellation policy).

If a participant is unable to attend an event they may substitute another member of their institute / organisation (as long as the equivalent fee applies).

Where a participant is unable to attend for any reason (including travel disruption, failure to secure visas and changes in personal circumstances) and is not in a position to transfer his / her place to another person, then the following refund arrangements apply:
a) Registrations cancelled 30 days or more before the event will be refunded 100% of the fees. If no payment has been received, the delegate invoice will be cancelled.
b) Registrations cancelled less than 30 but more than 10 working days (Monday to Friday) before the event will be refunded     50% of the fees. If no payment has been received, we will invoice for the outstanding 50%, which must be paid before the delegate can attend any other cemmap events.
c) Registrations cancelled 10 working days or less before the event will not be eligible for a refund. If no payment has been received, we will require full payment before the delegate can attend any other cemmap events.
d) Registrants who do not attend for any reason will not be eligible for any refund. If no payment has been received, we will require full payment before the delegate can attend any other cemmap events.

By submitting or signing your completed booking form you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
